i really dont like this whole “you cant have an opinion on tumblr” attitude because really its “you cant have a hateful/offensive/ignorant opinion on tumblr because youll get called out and corrected”

Actually, more like you get called out and belittled, which is not a good an appropriate response.
Also, in the terms of ignorant, “ignorant” literally means “lacking knowledge or experience.” Which means that EVERYONE is ignorant about something, to some degree. So don’t throw the word around like it’s something negative, or that people who are ignorant about something are close-minded, bigotted assholes. No. NO. Learn what the word means before you call out and belittle someone for having an “ignorant opinion” because I can GUARANTEE there is something that YOU are ignorant about, and I’m sure you’ve made plenty of ignorant comments.

World Book Night took place for the third time in 2013, but it was the first time I participated. World Book Night is a campaign that first launched in the UK & Ireland in 2011 that simply aims to get ‘light’ readers or ‘non-readers’ to pick up a book. I thought I’d write a little post to tell you a bit about my experience of participating in World Book Night, which will hopefully encourage some of you to apply to be a giver when applications open for WBN 2014 a little later in the year.

Lostmondays on ebay has some really nice old vintage style band tops with Bauhaus and all on them! You have awesome taste in music!
It was such an amazing store. It was called Vintage Recalled, and I have no idea why it closed, except that it was probably competing with a slightly more popular vintage store that was around the corner from it (in my hometown, theres this artsy part of town called Five Points, and it has vintage stores, and antique stores, and a couple cafes and some hipster-ish bars). They had Vans and Converse there for super cheap, and I always made a point to go in when I was in that area (and I ALWAYS bought something, haha). Plus the people in there were super nice.
Ugh, I don’t think we have any big rock and metal festivals here. Well, in the U.S. we do, but Florida isn’t exactly the best place for music festivals, especially not Rock and Metal ones. Or, the rock and metal festivals we have have mainly newere bands, and, as snobbish as it sounds, I wouldn’t waste my money on those bands. When it comes to Rock and Metal music, I like old school rock and metal.
Ooh, I’ll have to check out Lostmondays! Thank you for letting me know! (and, now I have ANOTHER reason to waste my time on Ebay, haha).
And, thank you! I think I get it from my mom, because she’s always had fantastic taste in music. She LOVES Aerosmith, and I actually started listening to them because of her. And, she also likes Motley Crue. Basically, my mom is awesome. :D
